A hat-trick of peaks for Tom!

In June 2023 I led a group up Ben Nevis to complete the challenge of climbing the highest peaks in Wales, England and Scotland, in memory of our friend and colleague Tom Clarke.

As you can see - conditions were less than ideal with rain and wind forecast most of the day. A change of start time from 10am to 7am was initially met with some dismay by the late risers - but it let us miss the worst of the weather high up, and the group were all down in good time in great spirits!

This was the last of three peaks for the group, having completed Snowdon two years ago and Scafell Pike last year. Amazingly, over £27.000 has been raised for the Tom Clarke Foundation, set up in Tom's memory - which helps people with Crohn's disease, Colitis, and Cancer.
