Lakes Adventure Weekend

In May '25, the outstanding charity Millimetres2Mountains invited me to help with an adventure weekend in Borrowdale. My role was to serve as a sighted guide for one of the beneficiaries, who I had previously assisted in climbing Helvelyn.

The weekend was filled with activities like climbing, hiking, and canoeing, along with plenty of chatting, socialising, and simply enjoying the beautiful setting and great company.

The weather was amazing, with perfect blue skies, crystal-clear lakes, and the majestic Borrowdale mountains—it felt like the Swiss Alps in the summertime!

A great weekend and a great bunch of people, living life to the max....
